Tequila Immersion Day, Los Angeles
On April 14th, the Third Annual Tequila Immersion Day was held in Los Angeles' Viceroy Hotel. 40 of the top bartenders in Southern California gathered for a rare treat: a full-day seminar on tequila and tequila cocktails taught by the founders of Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR): Dale DeGroff, Paul Pacult, Steve Olson, Andy Seymour, Dave Wondrich and Leo Degroff. Partida Bartender Ambassadors Jacques Bezuidenhout, Damian Windsor, Willy Shine and Aisha Sharpe were also on hand to round out the cast of mixology stars.
Participants learned about the history of tequila, tasted over 30 tequilas blind and sampled cocktails created by the BAR team. Gary Shansby, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Partida Tequila, was on hand to welcome the bartender attendees and the BAR team. "We are so proud to have forged a great working relationship with the leading cocktail education group in the US, the founders of BAR," said Mr. Shansby. "We share the same goals, and together we're 'raising the bar' on tequila education for America's aspiring bartenders."
Partida Tequila Launches with RNDC in Louisiana and Oklahoma
On June 10th and 11th, Partida held kick-off meetings with the Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) sales teams in New Orleans and Oklahoma City. Partida Founder, Chairman and CEO Gary Shansby gave captivating presentations introducing the brand and history of Partida. Director of Sales Rick Scully and Director of Brand Development Dave Singh presented Partida's top-of-the line selling tools and creative marketing programs. After each meeting, a "Margarita Tech" session was held, where the RNDC sales teams had a hands-on lesson on how to make the Partida Margarita. Each participant took turns squeezing fresh lime juice, measuring out the ingredients and 'shaking' their very own Partida Margarita.
"We're excited to be expanding our relationship with RNDC beyond Texas to Louisiana and Oklahoma," said Mr. Shansby. "RNDC has already proven to be a great partner to Partida in Texas and we look forward to seeing the relationship grow further."
Added Rick Scully, "The RNDC teams in Oklahoma and Louisiana showed the same great enthusiasm for Partida that we've experienced in Texas. We're looking forward to working with our RNDC friends to take Partida to the top in their respective markets."

Joanne Weir Tequila Book Launch Party, San Francisco
Acclaimed food author Joanne Weir launched her new book, "Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites," at one of San Francisco's premier Tequila venues, Tres Agaves. Nearly 200 people attended the launch party and book signing, and Partida Regional Manager Valerie Shilgalis was on hand to taste guests on the "World's Top-Rated Tequila."
Ortega 120 Press Dinner, Los Angeles
On June 2nd Ortega 120, which was celebrating its one year anniversary, hosted a special Press Dinner for 12 of Los Angeles' top food and lifestyle reporters. Their chef created a fantastic 5-course menu and each dish was paired masterfully with a unique Partida Tequila cocktail. Partida Founder & Chairman Gary Shansby was on hand to lead the Partida tasting and answer questions from the press.
'Taste of the Tamales by the Bay' Fundraiser, San Francisco
Recently, Partida was the featured Tequila at the annual Taste of the Tamales by the Bay fundraiser event. Ivan Garcia from Colibri Mexican Bistro won the competition for Best Margarita with his 'Nopal Margarita' using Partida Reposado. Adrian Hernandez of La Mar Restaurant won Best Tequila Cocktail with his 'Refreshing Bliss,' which also included Partida Reposado. Proceeds from the event benefited the Benchmark Institute.
 Malo Tequila Tasting, Los Angeles
On June 4th, Partida Bartender Ambassador Damian Windsor participated in a special Tequila Tasting event hosted by Christene D' Abrosca of Malo Restaurant, who is also a member of the Los Angeles Tequila Tasting Club. Partida Reposado Tequila was featured in the raffle and all of the guests participated enthusiastically for a chance to get their hands on "the Bentley of Reposados."
Partida Tequila Seminar at Malverde, Austin
On May 28th, Partida Bartender Ambassador Jacques Bezuidenhout and RNDC's Austin District Manager Greg Juarez helped organize a special Partida Seminar at Malverde. Over 30 guests attended including Michael Parker of Opal Divine's , Rob Pate of Cedar Street and Ben Petco of Third Base. After the event Mr. Juarez said, "RNDC is a proud supporter of Partida Tequila. We have high expectations for this brand and its continued success within our market. First Ever Mixology Event for The Spirit Enthusiast of Texas

The Green Lantern was the scene for S.E.T.'s first ever mixology event
hosted by Partida Bartender Ambassadors Jacques Bezuidenhout and Jeret
Peña, who is also the the Founder & President of S.E.T. The meeting
started with Jacques and Jeret talking about the wonderful world of
mixology and then quickly moved into using the various fresh juices,
fruits and tools laid out on the bar. By the end of the evening, every
guest walked away with a new understanding of mixology and what can be
accomplished when you use premium products like Partida Tequila.

Mesa Grill Partida Margarita Promotion, Las Vegas
'The World's Best Margarita,' the Partida Margarita, is one of the feature cocktails on the new Mesa Grill Las Vegas menu. From January through June, General Manager Jean Pierre Francois organized two competitions to see which of his staff could sell the most Partida Margaritas. Over the last 100 days, Mesa Grill has sold nearly 6,000 of the Partida signature cocktail. Encina Arias and James Kim were the two winners of the evening shift and John Galloway was the winner of the day shift. The winners received a special package of Partida Blanco, Reposado and Añejo and a bottle of the very special Partida Elegante Extra AñejoTequila.
The winners describe their passion for Partida in their own words:
"For me, a great tequila is like a great wine, it has two components: value and flavor. It's a kind of vital symbiotic relationship; one without the other is like a sailboat without a mast. Partida is not only an exceptional Tequila, but a great value, and thus sells itself. I just offer my recommendation, customers try it, invariably love it, and their gratitude ensues. When mixed with pure Partida Agave Nectar and fresh lime juice [the Partida Margarita], Partida has no rival," said John Galloway, Mesa Grill server and author of Fine Dining Madness. (100% of the proceeds of his book are donated to help wounded American veterans returning from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan).
"First of all, thank you [Partida Tequila] for giving us an opportunity to work with such a great product. Clearly you've got the better product and all I had to do was to let our customers know that Partida is there and better. Once they tasted Partida, you know the rest. Your agave farm was an eye opening experience for me in several ways. Once again, thanks for giving us a chance to introduce a great product to our customers. Once they try Partida, you've got yourself a fan for life, lots of them." said James Kim.

Texas Market Blitz
During the months of May and June, RNDC and Partida Tequila teamed up for a Texas Market Blitz. The combined efforts of both sales teams placed over 140 co-pack Agave Nectar shippers in key on-premise accounts and organized over 30 Partida Tequila happy hour promotions.

Cinco de Mayo at Knox Street Pub, Dallas
Over 300 people turned out for Knox Street Pub's Cinco de Mayo Party and over 400 Partida Reposados were served, either in a Partida Margarita or neat. Bar manager Ryan Ferguson had a chance to sit down and taste Partida Tequila with a few guests. All were extremely impressed with the smoothness of Partida.

Partida AÑejo Awarded "Stellar Packaging"
The Partida Añejo 750ml bottle received the "Stellar Packaging" (Envase Estelar) Award from the Mexican Packaging Association within the framework of the Expo Pack 2009. This prize represents the recognition of the association for the best quality of the materials and design of our product amongst the top food industry brands of the country. The Expo Pack is considered the most important packaging exposition in all Latin America and was held in the Banamex Centre in Mexico City. Vinicio Estrada, President of Tequila Partida de México, received the award accompanied by the top executives of the bottle producer Grupo Pavisa and Partida's packaging consultant Salvador Trejo.

The Partida Tequila Masters Class at the Emerald Peacock, Melbourne
The Melbourne Partida launch started off with what will be remembered as one of the best Tequila Master Class Sessions the city has seen starring Phil Bayly, the Ambassador of Tequila to Australia. Held at the Emerald Peacock, over 70 leading Melbourne bartenders witnessed the "True Spirit of Mexico" firsthand. Phil, who recently visited the Partida Fabrica armed with a camera, magically captured the making of the "World's Top-Rated Tequila" and gave his audience a virtual tour of the Partida Tequila Distillery. Phil's inquisitive eyes and quest to gain some of the best footage took him into the Tequila Valley amongst the sea of blue agaves, alongside the workers of the Partida Distillery.
Following the Partida Master Class, the group of newly minted Tequila experts and Tequila lovers headed to one of Melbourne's best roof top bars, the second level at Emerald Peacock. Everyone was treated to three signature Partida Cocktails: The Partida Margarita, the Paloma and the Pomegranate Margarita. The Emerald Peacock bar team expertly served up these creations, and demonstrated just how easy it was to make such great cocktails. A big thanks to the Emerald Peacock, to Phil Bayly and to the dedicated crew of Melbourne finest bartenders who tuned out to celebrate the dawn of a new revolution in Partida Tequila.
