Frontiers in LA Praises Partida Tequila

Bobo Kicks off its Tequila Week with Terrific Tequila Party
New York hotspot Bobo celebrated their tequila week promotion with a fun kickoff, the Bobo Mexican Fiesta Tequila Party. On June 23rd, guests — including members of the press, bartenders and tequila enthusiasts — enjoyed a great night of music (live mariachi band), cocktails and food. All drinks served had a base of tequila with resident mixologist Naren Young's Stealth Margarita being the most popular:

1.5 oz. jalapeno-infused Partida Blanco Tequila
0.75 oz. St. Germain
0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
0.25 oz. Partida 100% Organic Agave Nectar
Shake and strain over fresh ice into a glass half rimmed with chili salt and garnish with a long cucumber slice.
Lindo Michoacan Tequila Dinner Brings Partida to Many New Faces
On July 13th, Lindo Michoacan in Las Vegas hosted a fabulous tequila dinner. The guests gave a very warm reception to Diana Barrera (a.k.a. Agave Gal) as she led a guided tasting of Partida Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. Diana's presentation included the history and heritage of tequila. Lindo Michoacan's General Manager Mark Berry was thrilled with the event and said, "We at Lindo Michoacan are proud to feature Partida Tequila at our restaurants, and happy to have introduced Partida to an enthusiastic audience."
Celebrate Flatiron Chefs After Party in NYC
Directly following the Madison Square Park Conservancy's Celebrate Flatiron Chefs event, dozens of guests headed to the Breslin ACE Hotel, a terrific new account for Partida, for an exclusive after party. Guests congregated in the new ACE Hotel's Lobby Bar for cocktails featuring Partida Tequila and snacks. Beverage Director at the Breslin, Dennis O'Connor created a special Partida Tequila recipe for the event, the 23 Skidoo (recipe below), that wowed guests. The after party brought out some of the famed Flatiron Chefs and a DJ to keep the party going - all to celebrate another successful event in the park which raised over $260,000! The money will go toward the maintenance, beautification and free cultural programs in Madison Square Park.

1 oz. Partida Blanco
.5 oz. St. Germain
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
Drizzzle G.E. Massenez Crème de Mure
2 oz. Boylan's soda
Shake Partida, St. Germain and lemon juice in a pint glass, then transfer to a Collins glass with ice. Add soda and finish by drizzling in approximately .25 oz. of crème de mure. Garnish with two blackberries. Enjoy!

Cabrito Cocktail Jam
Pipeline held a fabulous Cocktail Jam on Monday, June 29th at New York City's West Village hotspot Cabrito. This Summertime Cocktail Jam hosted more than 100 talented mixologists from top bars who mixed up cocktails and competed for prizes and scholarships. Partida Blanco, Reposado and Añejo Tequilas and the Partida agave nectar were all crucial ingredients in numerous delicious cocktails.

Partida A Big Hit at Chefs, Food, Wine Event in San Francisco
From August 6-9, Partida Tequila was proud to participate in the SF Chefs, Food, Wine charity event held at Union Square. The four-day food, wine and cocktail event drew hundreds of consumers and food enthusiasts from all over the SF Bay Area. The warm weather made the refreshing Partida Margaritas a perfect complement to the wonderful dishes prepared by some of San Francisco's top chefs. Renowned bay-area restaurants such as Perbacco, Micheal Mina ,
Yoshi's , Palio d'Asti and Cortez Restaurant all participated to raise support and awareness for four local charities: San Francisco Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, The Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation and Project Open Hand.

Beautiful local television hostess, Vanessa Macias, was spotted enjoying a Partida Margarita during the live ESPN Radio Show at Rio Rio Cantina in San Antonio. Rio Rio Cantina, a popular spot for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans after each practice, is one of Partida Tequila's top accounts in San Antonio. Partida Founder, Chairman and CEO Gary Shansby also conducted a special interview with Jason Minix and Chris Duell of ESPN Radio at Rio Rio when he was in the Dallas market. Ula Gula Cocktails Entice Many from the World Over
Sitting on a corner of lively 5th avenue in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Ula Gula bar seduces world travelers with fine crafted cocktails. Ula Gula bar has been serving premium cocktails for almost 10 years, and has become one of the cocktail hot spots in the Mayan Riviera.
The cocktails on the drink menu were created by Ula Gula's own mixologists, Luis Santana and Luis Iriarte, both of whom learned from London's best bars and professionals. It is now Angel Reyes who continues innovating Partida Tequila cocktails with fresh ingredients, ideas and style.
The Mexican Academy of Bartenders is Born
Led by Esteban Morales Garibi, restaurateur and spirits connoisseur, the Mexican Academy of Bartenders (Academia Mexicana de Bartenders) opened its doors in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the tequila capital of the world.
The AMB is a project aimed at promoting the cocktail culture within the city through education for spirits aficionados and future bar professionals. The AMB promotes this cocktail movement through educational seminars for consumers with hands-on workshops, education and professional training for the aspiring mixologist, and cocktail challenges.
Workshops are divided by each spirit category, of which the AMB has chosen Partida Tequila for their tequila sessions. The tasting showcases each Partida marque, followed by cocktail creations with Partida Tequila.
