Tequila Confessions at Super Bowl XLII – Big Win for Partida
Whether you were a Giants fan from Brooklyn, a Patriots fan from Boston or just a football fan like most of us, on February 3rd all eyes were turned to Super Bowl XLII in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Partida Tequila Confession team was on site at the Super Bowl to capture stories and introduce consumers to the ‘true spirit of tequila.’ El Toro (www.eltorobravousa.com), Salty Senorita (www.saltysenorita.com) and Cien Agave (www.cienagaves.com) were chosen as the sites for the Partida Tequila Confessions team to collect all the interesting tidbits that fans had to offer about their experiences with tequila.
Some interesting stories were captured as the festivities for the big game continued and die-hard football fans became more acquainted with Partida and the Partida Margarita. Those who contributed their tequila confessions were provided with the opportunity to sample Partida Tequila. “Everyone agreed that Partida Tequila was the smoothest tequila they had ever tasted and the Partida Margarita was the best margarita they’ve ever had,” said Bill Hall, Partida Tequila Arizona Regional Manager.

Atlanta area bartender, Arthur M. Infeld of Town Kitchen has created a Partida Tequila based cocktail using Roostas No. 5 Bloody Mary Mix and orange juice. The cocktail is currently listed on the menu at Town Kitchen.

Partida Bartender Ambassador Program Expands with Two New Additions
The Partida Bartender Program recently introduced two new members, Tad Carducci and Navarro Carr who will be based in New Jersey and Atlanta, respectively.
Tad Carducci:
Tad Carducci has spent roughly two decades honing his skills at almost every position that a restaurant or bar has to offer from busboy to beverage manager. Carducci is one of the top graduates of the introductory Beverage Alcohol Resources (BAR) spirits and mixology training program and a certified sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and has earned the ‘Advanced Certificate with Merit’ from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Carducci is also the winner of several major mixology competitions.
“I am truly passionate about sharing what I know about spirits with others, especially an exceptional spirit like Partida Tequila,” said Carducci.
Nararro Carr
Hailing from a corporate background in marketing and sales, Navarro Carr caught the mixology ‘bug’ from a former Pegu bartender in NYC. Currently the newest bartender in the Ambassador Program, Navarro works at Trios in Atlanta where he specializes in classic cocktails and mixology.
“I’ve been very fortunate to work at a few of the coolest bars in Atlanta. I’m very excited to spread the word about Partida and I want to continue to learn more about the fascinating world of cocktails and spirits,” said Carr enthusiastically.

Our very own, Marita Leonard, Partida Bartender Ambassador from Miami, was recently named ‘Diva of Spirits’ by the Miramar chapter of Divas Who Dine. The social networking group for women dined at DeVito’s restaurant in South Beach and enjoyed cocktails served by resident bartender, Michael Flannery and Partida Passion Margaritas made by Marita. “Overall it was an amazing event. This fabulous group of ladies enjoyed all of the cocktails, especially the Partida Passion Margarita,” said Leonard.

Partida Tequila Celebrates with Ocean Drive
On Saturday, February 16th, Partida Tequila joined in the celebration of Ocean Drive magazine’s 15th year anniversary in Midtown Miami as the exclusive tequila served. The Partida Margarita with 100% organic agave nectar was available for the crowd of 2,000 partygoers including fashion designers, models and advertisers. “The Partida Margarita was a huge hit among the guests,” said Thomas Smitherman, Partida Tequila regional manager in South Florida.
Love and Partida in the Air at San Antonio Valentine’s Day Party
Partida Tequila was the tequila of choice served at Soho Wine Bar for the gathering of San Antonio area bartenders and bar managers on Valentine’s Day at a private singles party. An estimated crowd of 100 people turned out to enjoy the romantic setting, Partida cocktails created by Jeret Pena, Partida Bartender Ambassador, and the Partida Margarita. “All in all the evening was a great success with everyone finding love in one way or another, whether it was the girl or guy next to them or the Partida Tequila right in front of them. Partida Finds a Fan Base in Scottsdale, AZ Four Seasons
Bill Ellis, Assistant Food and Beverage Director at The Four Seasons in Scottsdale, AZ has played a major part in placement of Partida Tequila based cocktails on the drink list and is a big fan. The drink menu, housed outside of the bar in the main lobby, lists two Partida based cocktails - the Paloma Fresa, strawberry infused Partida Reposado Tequila and Lillet Blanc and the Partida Agave Margarita as featured cocktails. “Bill marinates 5 bottles of Partida Reposado in strawberries then adds a little Lillet and serves it up, the drink is amazing,” said Bill Hall.

La Cueva Restaurant and Summit Distributing will sponsor a tequila tasting and fundraising event on March 25, 2008 in Aurora, CO at 6 p.m. showcasing Partida Tequila and Partida cocktails. The event will feature a silent auction of hand painted tequila bottles by artist Belen Escanate, Nuñez Foundation scholarship recipient and a student at the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design. All proceeds will go to the Nuñez Foundation, an organization created by restaurant owner and businesswoman, Norma Nuñez. Founded in 1997, the organization grants college scholarships to deserving high school students.
