Partida Tequila Elegante
Makes Debut on
Mexican Independence Day

Partida Tequila officially launched the much anticipated and highly acclaimed extra añejo, Elegante, on September 16th, Mexican Independence Day. Elegante has already garnered rave reviews from many of the leading spirits authorities in the U.S. Paul Pacult described Elegante as "silky, complex and elegant," and wrote that with the release of Elegante "the real magic is just starting for Partida." Steve Olson said, "'Elegant' is not a word that I would normally use to describe the [tequila] category, but Partida Elegante absolutely merits the description."

Elegante has also been received incredibly well by the press. Food & Wine, TIME Magazine, The Robb Report, In Style and Fortune Magazine are just a small sampling of publications that have selected Elegante for their holiday spirits reviews.

"We've managed every step of the production process for Partida Tequila Elegante with painstaking care," said Gary Shansby, founder and chairman of Partida Tequila. "We selected the very best blue agave — hand harvested when perfectly ripened with concentrated sugars — cooked the piñas in stainless steel autoclaves for an exceptionally clean, pure agave taste and distilled and aged Elegante to perfection." Elegante is aged from 36-40 months in American oak.

Florida Hot Spot City Tropics Bistro Gets Creative with Agave Nectar

City Tropics Bistro in Satellite Beach, Florida is discovering fun and creative ways to enhance their bar offerings with Partida 100% organic agave nectar. "They put the 'Partida Nectarita,' their version of the Partida Margarita, on the cocktail menu for Labor Day weekend," said Thomas Smitherman, Southeast Regional Manager, Partida Tequila. "Because it was so successful over the holiday weekend they started experimenting more with the Partida agave nectar."

"We came up with a twist on the standard pour of tequila neat," explains Shane Dean, Wine & Spirits Director, "and called it the 'Partida Nectar Blossom Shot.'" The concept is easy, yet distinctive. Dip the rim of a standard shot glass in Partida organic agave nectar and add any one of the Partida Tequilas: Blanco, Reposado or Añejo. "The agave nectar adds a touch of 'sweetness to the neatness' - simple yet sensational!" enthuses Dean.
