London:
Debut a Smashing Success

"I was proud to be part of the Partida Tequila UK debut at the London BAR Show on June 6th. We had a demonstration stage at the Show where I was lucky enough to share the limelight with some very talented Tequila aficionados including Julio Bermejo of Tommy's Mexican Restaurant and Thomas Estes -- both huge fans of Partida. Henry Besant of the World Wide Cocktail Club in London and I demonstrated cocktails and educated the packed audience on Partida taste characteristics. The crowd of bartenders and bar owners could not get enough! It was clear that bartenders in London and the UK are hooked on premium tequila and love to use it in their cocktails -- and they're getting hooked on Partida.
Later that evening, we hosted a Partida party at one of the best cocktail bars in London, the Lonsdale House. Charles Vexenat, bar manager and winner of the 2007 Theme Best Bartender happily mixed fresh Partida Margaritas. The party went well into the wee hours of the morning!
Not many Tequila companies can say they are in the USA, Mexico, London, Scotland and Ireland. Tequila is truly becoming a global spirit with Partida spearheading the movement, educating the industry on premium 100% Blue Agave Tequila. I look forward to returning to London soon to taste delicious and varied Partida cocktails that my UK colleagues create."

1 1/4oz Domecq Manzanilla Sherry
3/4oz Mathilde Pear Liqueur
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

In a recent trip to the Partida Tequila distillery in Amatitan, Mexico hosted by Executive Chef, Joseph Manzare of Tres Agaves; Eric Rubin, managing partner and selected staff members had the opportunity to tour the facility and to sample the soon-to-be released, Partida Elegante, extra Añejo. "It was truly an experience to treasure," said Rubin.
"We try to make it a memorable experience for visitors who are enthusiastic about Partida as we are," said Vinicio Estrada, President and General Director, Partida de Mexico.

Delicious Partida Margaritas served at Delicias Restaurant in Rancho Santa Fe

On June 1, Partida Tequila launched the Partida Margarita at Delicias, a gourmet restaurant located in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Sofia Partida and Tim Dinan, Southern California Regional Manager both of Partida Tequila were on hand for the kick-off event.
"The owner, Stephen Poskus is a big supporter of our brand," said Sofia Partida. "Delicias promotes Partida Tequila and is one of our top accounts in the Rancho Santa Fe area," said Dinan enthusiastically. Customers paid an entry fee for an opportunity to partake in the Partida Margarita and all three expressions of Partida served neat.

Partida Elegante Extra AÑejo Tequila Debuts at Aspen Food & Wine Classic

Fresh out of the barrel, Partida Tequila Elegante, an extra añejo tequila aged 36 months in American oak, made a prominent U.S. debut at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic's 'Ultimate Agave: Mexico's Ultra Premium Tequilas' seminar led by Steven Olson, one of America's leading spirits experts. Seminar attendees had the special opportunity to be among the very first Americans ever to taste this extraordinary tequila.
"Partida Elegante is an exciting and outstanding example of the growing 100% blue agave extra añejo category of tequilas," said Mr. Olson. "As a passionate tequila consumer, I must say that 'elegant' is not a word that I would normally use to describe the category, but the Partida Elegante absolutely merits the description."
The Partida Tequila Elegante will become available on an allocated basis this fall in all states where Partida Tequila is distributed. The suggested retail price for this limited-edition product will be $350.

Partida wins big at Mohegan Sun Casino

The Player's Club Dinner hosted by Partida Tequila and Mohegan Sun Casino at Tuscany's Italian Restaurant on June 5, 2007 featured Chef Jeff of Todd English's Tuscany who paired his cuisine with tequila for the first time. The exclusive event was attended by 60 high-rollers who enjoyed an assortment of cocktails and Partida Tequila served neat with a full course meal.


A Tequilarama Event to Support the Southern Arizona Boys' and Girls' Club
Partida Tequila and family-owned El Charro Café hosted a tequila dinner at the Stillwell House in Tucson, AZ on May 31st with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Boys' and Girls' Club of Southern Arizona.
Partida hits the SKY - Bar
Partida Tequila teamed up with SkyBar on June 18th at the Partida Margarita Partida launch event in Miami, FL. Premiere Beverage representatives were given the opportunity to sample the Partida Margarita made with 100% Agave Nectar.

Partida, Muy Caliente
Can you handle the heat? Caliente Partida created by Junior Merino, Partida Tequila Ambassador will surely raise your temperature.

Caliente Partida
1 1/2 oz Partida Reposado
3 chunks of pineapple
2 ginger wheels
1/4oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
1/4 oz Partida agave nectar
1/4 oz ginger ale
In a mixing glass, muddle the first four ingredients. Add ice & Partida Reposado. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a highball glass. Top off with Ginger Ale. Garnish with a couple of pieces of crystallized ginger.

| Extra AÑejo, the Newest Classification in Tequila
The newest classification of tequila being celebrated by aficionados worldwide is Extra Añejo. This categorization can only appear on tequila made from 100% Blue Agave that has been aged in oak barrels (with a maximum capacity of 600 liters) for a minimum of three years. The most common barrels used in the aging process for Extra Añejo are American whiskey barrels, French oak casks, or cognac barrels.
Extra Añejo Tequilas tend to be richer in color than regular Añejos with hues ranging from gold to a deep amber. The Extra Añejo offer subtle aromas and delicate, beautifully nuanced and complex flavor palettes.

| A Bartender by Any Other Name...

"When I first stepped behind the bar as a bartender, that's exactly what I considered myself. Today, I still think of myself as a bartender although we are seeing more terms like Mixologist or Bar Chef emerging to describe the fine art of bartending. These terms have come about to describe the difference between those who take the profession of bartending seriously and those that use the profession as a stepping stone to another career.
A Mixologist, Bar Chef or Bartender is a person behind the bar who studies the Craft of Bartending. They learn about the wonderful array of spirits that they have to work with. Mixologists study the history of the classic cocktails and how to mix them. They create new drinks that are finely balanced yet still creative. They also understand and respect the origins of all the drinks, because many newly created cocktails can be traced back to the classics. More importantly they create a unique drinking experience for their customers, conveying their experience and knowledge in an appropriate manner. Mixologists take all the extra steps to mix a classic cocktail or a new drink for customers, being careful not to cut corners. The smallest detail can make all the difference between a good cocktail and a great cocktail. They convey this knowledge to other bartenders who want to learn and continue to learn more to improve their own knowledge.
If you see a person behind the bar who demonstrates the attributes listed above, call him/her what you want -- Bartender, Bar Chef or Mixologist -- but get ready for a great cocktail experience."
