Tequila Partida Announces Distillery Change

To meet increasing demand and keep up with future growth, Tequila Partida recently announced a distillery change. Moving a few short miles from Amatitan to the town of Tequila, Partida will continue to use the same recipe and process to ensure that their award-winning product remains as smooth and unique as ever. To guarantee complete transparency and consistent product quality, Partida gathered five tequila experts in New York including Paul Pacult, Steve Olson, Misty Kalkofen, Phil Ward and Partida Brand Ambassador Jacques Bezuidenhout
to blind taste the pilot runs from the newest production. The same tasting occurred in San Francisco with US Tequila Ambassador Julio Bermejo and in Mexico with six experts from the Mexican Tequila Academy in Guadalajara. Results were unanimous; the tequila was consistent and great tasting, and the tasting teams were impressed with Partida's integrity and dedication to the spirits community by being so open and inclusive. "I'm thrilled that a panel of such tough critics loved our pilot run product and endorsed the process," said Gary Shansby, Founder, Chairman and CEO.
"This tasting was the ultimate statement of integrity," said Steve Olson. "Partida has only one goal, which they achieved — to make the same superior product they have always done — and to assemble a panel of such discerning critics was a bold and courageous decision." Added Paul Pacult, "Partida has always been uncompromising in their quality. They have reinforced their leadership in the ultra premium tequila category yet again with this unprecedented pilot run tasting."
The new Partida distillery, Fabrica La Autentica, is in the town of Tequila in the state of Jalisco, just a few miles down the road. Tequila Partida brought in their same team to run their exclusive tequila on the same equipment, with the same 100% pure estate agave from the same location, and of the same age, size, sugar content and specifications. "We got just the response on the pilot run that we were looking for," said Partida Maestro Tequilero Jose Valdez. "Coming from such esteemed tequila experts, we couldn't be happier."

An amazing cocktail just in time for your Fall drink list!
2 oz Partida Añejo Tequila
6 oz Hot Spiced Apple Cider
Heavy Cream
In a small warm wine glass add Tequila and hot apple cider. Float heavy cream.
Garnish: Grate fresh Nutmeg over cream.
Apple Cider Preparation:
In a pot add Organic Apple Juice and winter spices like Cloves, Cinnamon Stick, All Spice, and Orange Peel. Start off by adding spices slowly as to find the right-spiced apple cider flavor. (You can always add more spice later.) Bring everything to a low heat for about 15 mins. Taste for flavor. When the desired flavor is reached remove from heat. Strain out all the spices and orange peel. Serve warm and enjoy!

1 3/4 oz Partida Añejo Tequila
3/4 oz Barenjager Honey Liqueur
1/3 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
2 Dashes Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas "Own Decanter Bitters"
Garnish: Dehydrated Orange Wheel
Combine all liquid ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir approximately 40 times. Strain into a lowball glass with the dehydrated orange wheel on the bottom of the glass and two large (Tovolo) ice cubes on top.

Partida Receives Rave Reviews at Siegel's Tequila Festival

Tequila Partida participated in the annual Siegel's Tequila Festival in Dallas on September 11th. Approximately 300 guests sampled over 100 tequilas, and Partida received very high reviews throughout the evening, as did the Partida Margaritas!
Lo Bello de San Antonio Gala Samples Partida
Tequila Partida was featured and sampled at the Lo Bello de San Antonio Annual Event on September 12th. The group consists of 80 women that started the organization in 1993. Lo Bello de San Antonio Gala is held annually and the money raised goes towards college scholarships for local high school graduates continuing their education. The theme this year was "Nocha de Carnival," and Carnival girls walked around sampling each marque of Partida.
Partida Celebrates Mexican Independence Day with Fiestas for Partida Fans
On September 15th, fans of Partida celebrated Mexican Independence Day in New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Miami and Los Angeles. Guests received special Partida cocktails and appetizers while they learned about Partida and Mexican history. Viva Mexico!

Partida Tasting Pairs with Video Installation in Dallas
On October 12th Partida paired with the Burnt Orange Video Installation from 7-9 pm at the LuminArte Design and Gallery in Dallas. Presented by Spirits Aficionados founders Chelle Knijnenburg and Jamie Labar, Charlie Garza was on hand to sample Partida alongside the music of international pop artist Jim Lively.

Jacques Bezuidenhout presented Partida and an array of cocktails in a seminar at the first Ultimate Blast for Cocktails, Spirits & Wine at the Marriott Marquis in New York on October 15th. Partida was also available to attendees at a tasting table in the main gallery, with Elegante served for VIP guests. Partida Margaritas were all the rage throughout the evening.

Dish's Partida Pairing Dinner
Dish in Dallas hosted a pairing dinner with Partida on October 21 at 7 pm. Guests were treated to a 3 course dinner served with different marques of Partida. Charlie Garza led the group through the tasting, reinforcing education on Partida and tequila in general.

Southern California Account Offers Tequila Thursdays
The Partida Margarita is at the top of the cocktail list at Sky Ranch Patio in San Juan Capistrano. On Tequila Thursdays, they are offering $5 Sky Ranch Margaritas with Partida. The Sky Ranch Patio is partnered with the Beachcomber Restaurant which also serves Partida and the Partida Margarita in both their Malibu and Crystal Cove locations.

A Very Happy Hour in Dallas
For the whole month of September, Café San Miguel in Dallas celebrated Mexican Independence Day with Tequila Partida and $5 Partida Happy Hour specials. Patrons of the restaurant and bar enjoyed Partida Margaritas in celebration of the special holiday.
Blue Mesa Grill, a popular restaurant chain in North Texas, featured the Partida Strawberry Guava Margarita for the month of October. The cocktail, made with Partida Blanco, fresh strawberries and guava nectar is a tasty treat any day of the week.

Florida Welcomes Partida Cocktails
Abuelo's in Lakeland, Florida, has added another cocktail to their repertoire, The Partida Watermelon Margarita. This delicious cocktail combines sweet watermelon with the hearty pina of Partida Blanco.
Gaspar's Grotto in Ybor City-Miami has added the Partida Margarita to their drink menu and serves it proudly on their Margarita Nights. The bartenders have really taken to their new tequila.
